Brooks, who is the No.1 selling artist in U.S. history, went on to share details about one of the album’s most anticipated tracks – his duet with Trisha Yearwood on the song “Shallow,” from the motion picture A Star Is Born. The beloved song was originally recorded by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.

“The big one that’s coming is ‘Shallow.’ I think the people kind of talk to us trying that,” he confessed. “I would have never thought of it, but after hearing Trisha Yearwood sing, that’s a record must right there. I’m really proud of that one.”

Brooks, a 19-time Billboard Music Award winner, is set to receive the coveted Icon Award on Wednesday evening. The Oklahoma native will receive the trophy from Cher. He is one of only nine artists to ever receive the prestigious award, following Cher, Neil Diamond, Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey.
