The legendary Betty White passed away on December 31, 2021, just 17 days before her 100th birthday.
Her close friend and agent Jeff Witjas released the following statement shortly after news broke of White’s passing.
“Even though Betty was about to be 100, I thought she would live forever,” Witjas said of his friend and client. “I don’t think Betty ever feared passing because she always wanted to be with her most beloved husband Allen Ludden. She believed she would be with him again.”
Over the next couple days, rumors began swirling about how she passed away, since she seemed to be in good health, even filming a promo for her 100th birthday celebration a couple weeks prior.
