In the press release about his Last Call Tour, Jackson said:
“I’ve always admired my heroes like George Jones, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn and Charley Pride who just played as much as they wanted to, as long as they could. I’ve always thought I’d like to do that, and I’d like to as long as my health will allow.”
So just in case this is “farewell” from Jackson, here’s everything you need to know about his Last Call Tour.
The tour will kick off on Friday, June 24 in Biloxi, Mississippi. The tour will conclude on Saturday, October 8 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. So far, there are 16 stops on the tour.
Fan club pre-sale tickets will go on sale on March 15 starting at 10 AM local time. Citi cardemembers will also have access to the pre-sale tickets through the Citi Entertainment program. General admission tickets will go on sale March 18 starting at 10 AM local time (with the exception of the Savannah and Greenville shows).
The press release on Jackson’s website indicates that top-tier ticket packages are available. They “…include a pre-show party presented by AJ’s Good Time Bar…highlighted by live music from James Carothers and Cory Farley, featured performers from AJs.”
$1 from each ticket will be donated to the CMT Research Foundation.
