The beautiful 1,548-square-foot home was built in 1917 on a 62 acre lot. In 1984, Dolly’s parents purchased the property and lived there until their deaths. Dolly took over ownership after her mother died in 2003 (her father passed away in 2000).

Dolly eventually sold the property to a friend of the family who converted it into an event venue called Red Top.

“This past Parton farm has a touch of God’s grace with rolling hills showcasing our beautiful Smoky Mountains,” the Red Top website reads. “Avie Lee & Robert ‘Lee’ Parton who spent their 1st wedding night in a Sevier County barn were wonderfully graced with 12 precious children…each gifted with remarkable talents from their parents. Many of those talents are showcased currently at Red Top.  Red Top and its farm became a family gathering experience filled with laughter, hugs, and music for many friends, loved ones, and the Parton family.”

While the property listing only shows a few outside photos of the home, curious fans of Parton can take a peek inside with photos shared on the Red Top event venue website.

Rooms include what the venue has named Avie Lee’s Family Room, Dolly’s Master and Bath, two guest bedrooms, a glassed-in porch, and The Rockin’ Years Porch.

Red Top is near Douglas Lake and offers beautiful views of the countryside, but is only available for viewing by potential purchasers with a bank approval letter and scheduled appointment. Check out the full real estate listing HERE.
