Hank Williams Jr. Breaks Silence After Wife’s Unexpected Passing

Mary Jane Williams, the wife of Country Music Hall of Famer Hank Williams Jr., died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 22. She was 58 years old.

A family member confirmed to TMZ that she passed away after she likely suffered a complication from a medical procedure. The complication, the site says, could have been a blood clot.  TMZ also reached out to the Jupiter Police Department. A spokesperson replied, saying that the department received a call around 5pm Tuesday, March 22 from the Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa.

They are reporting that she “was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.”

Mary Jane and Hank Jr. met at one of his concerts in 1985 and tied the knot in 1990. They had two children together, a daughter named Katie, who passed away in a car accident in 2020, and Sam, a country music singer.
