Wynonna Is Gearing Up To Kick Off The Judds: The Final Tour, A Tour That Was Planned Before Naomi’s Death.
The “Why Not Me” singer announced that she was going to follow through with the planned tour in honor of her mom. On September 30, Wynonna will take the stage in Grand Rapids, Michigan, for the first night of the 11-city tour.
Wynonna recently told PEOPLE that she’s not sure if she’s ready for the tour, but knows it will be a healing time for her.
“This is my opportunity to step into a situation that I don’t know that I am ready to do what I’m about to do, but I think it’s going to heal me,” she says. “I’m teaching what I want to learn, which is how to have peace and joy in a really negative [space]. I want people to know that they’re loved. I want people to know that there is hope.”

The Judds: The Final Tour will take place through the month of October and will feature special guests Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Brandi Carlile, Little Big Town, Ashley McBryde and Trisha Yearwood.
