On Sunday (September 25), country legend Loretta Lynn celebrated her 60th anniversary as a Grand Ole Opry member. The “You Ain’t Woman Enough” singer took to social media to reflect on such an incredible milestone.
“Time flies when you’re having fun! 60 years ago, a dream came true when I became a member of the @opry,” the legendary artists wrote. “It’s still the most magical place in the world and holds so many wonderful memories for me!”
Lynn also shared several throwback photos covering her countless performances at the Opry – such as appearances with Conway Twitty and her sister Crystal Gayle. Meanwhile, the Grand Ole Opry also commemorated the special event – wishing Lynn “a very happy 60th Opry anniversary today.”
