Country music legend Loretta Lynn was honored during a star-studded public memorial service that took place Sunday (October 30) at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.

Some of country music’s biggest stars, including Keith Urban, Tanya Tucker, Darius Rucker, Alan Jackson, Jack White, George Strait, Little Big Town, Margo Price, Brandi Carlile, The Highwomen, Lukas Nelson, and Lynn’s granddaughter Emmy Russell, performed for the event. Even more appeared on stage or virtually to share stories and memories of the Coal Miner’s Daughter.
But, during a special moment shared during the 90-minute, commercial-free service, an audio recording of Loretta Lynn leaving a message to her fans was played.
